Read MoreBike week is going to be held this year from 12th- 16th June. This year’s campaign is to ‘Get Creative’ and write a poem about why cycling is fun. The poem should consist of no more than two verses and your winning entry from each key stage will win a goodie bag.
This competition is also a great way to get your Sheriff’s involved, they could help promote the event or even help out with presenting prizes! We have included a poster for you to use too!
Once you have selected your winning entries (you do not need to send these in to us), please request your goodie bags (max 1 per key stage) no later than Friday 30th June and update your action plan once completed. Also please note you need to complete 2 out of the 3 campaigns displayed on your action plan.

Through the Schools A*STARS Action Plan, concerns were raised about drivers not observing the zebra crossing correctly. This was assessed against other school requests and was successful in receiving funding for a ‘Safer Route to School’ scheme in 2015/16.
