Exciting Free Road Safety Event- A.F Blakemore & Sons

A.F Blakemore & Sons are offering A*STARS schools the chance to participate in an exciting Road Safety event. They will attend your school for a morning or afternoon session and educate Yr 4 pupils on the dangers of playing near large HGV with a demonstration using one of A.F. Blakemore’s trucks.

In addition to this, the Fire Service/Police provide pupils with classroom poster competitions and demonstrations outside, allowing children to take a turn sitting in a fire engine.

As an added bonus all pupils who take part are given a goody bag full of road safety related products including reflective stickers and wristbands to help improve pupils’ visibility when out at night.
