Alumwell Infants celebrated the launch of this year's A*STARS programme by inviting the Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Mohammed Nazir to join them in a Let's Walk Together event. Over 50 children and adults walked from the nearby Village Hotel to their school on a very cold but sunny morning. On arrival at school everyone enjoyed a healthy breakfast and found out more about the A*STARS programme. The event was very successful and it is hoped that parents may be encouraged to try walking to school or parking away in future.
